Waterproofing Intensive - Tremco

Description

This course provides contractors with practical, installation-focused training on Tremco’s below-grade waterproofing systems. This immersive training session offers a comprehensive deep dive and hands-on experience in proper substrate preparation, sequencing, detailing, and application techniques for Tremco membranes and drainage systems, empowering contractors, installers, and technical sales professionals to confidently master field-proven best practices.

Real-world case studies and technical guidance help attendees identify and prevent common jobsite issues, understand compatibility and curing requirements, and execute high-quality installations in a variety of environmental and structural conditions.  At the end of the course, attendees will be equipped with the hands-on knowledge needed to deliver durable, code-compliant, and warranty-ready Tremco waterproofing system installations.

Objectives

Over the course of this dynamic training, participants will:

  1. Explore the importance of below-grade waterproofing, including why it's essential for structural integrity, when it's required by code or design, and how it protects buildings over time.

  2. Learn how system components work together to create a continuous, resilient waterproofing barrier.

  3. Participate in hands-on installation exercises that simulate real-world jobsite conditions and challenges.

  4. Apply best practices for substrate preparation, detailing, and membrane placement in below-grade waterproofing scenarios.

  5. Review the steps involved in preparing a project to receive below-grade waterproofing, including coordination with other trades and proper sequencing.
