Concrete coating performance contractors can trust

Founded by contractors who couldn't find the products they needed, Arizona Polymer Flooring provides high-performance coating systems that deliver reliable results in the field.
Back in the 1980s, Dean and Carol Owen were working as flooring contractors operating in the Phoenix, Arizona area. One of the most frustrating parts of their job at that time was finding high-quality concrete coating products. Eventually, in 1985, Dean and Carol decided to start Arizona Polymer Flooring (APF) so that they could create the product they were looking for.
Today, APF lives on as a member of the ICP Group and has become well-known in the industry for their high-performance flooring products and concrete coating systems. One contractor who knows the brand well and relies on their products is Spencer Self, owner of Select Concrete Services.
Spencer’s team at Select Concrete Services has been relying of APF products for more than 15 years now. When asked why he and his team have used APF for so long, Spencer said, “The biggest thing is how consistent APF products are. It doesn't matter what time of year I put it down, how long I've had the material, it goes down the same every time...Being able to maintain that consistency from one project to the next makes a big difference.”
Why is that consistency so important? Peace of mind. As Spencer put it, “It gives me peace of mind for not only myself, but for my customers. I know that whenever I leave the jobsite, I'm not going to have to come back and worry about fixing something that somebody's damaged because APF products hold up.” He continued, “In the entire time we’ve been putting APF products down, we’ve never had to go back and fix a job yet due to any delamination or any inconsistencies with the product.”
Overall, working with APF allows Spencer to feel proud and confident in the work his team does. In his words, “[Because we use APF, I can be confident that] I'm putting down a better product than the next guy.”
