Fourth time’s the charm: Homeowner receives a roof free of charge

Fourth time’s the charm: Homeowner receives a roof free of charge
July 18, 2025 at 3:00 a.m.

By Jenny Yu.

After contacting several roofing contractors, a homeowner’s daughter hit the jackpot.

Amanda Reyes was struggling to find the right contractor to help her. Her mother’s aging modular home had leaks and required roof repairs, and after some searching, Amanda found the right contractor for the job.

Noe Madrigal, founder of A&A Roofing Services based in Kennewick, Washington, inspected the roof and helped Amanda understand the issues, costs and tips for repair.

“Noe was the fourth contractor I contacted," Amanda shared with ACCESS Newswire. "He was the only one who walked me through all the options and helped me understand the costs. He didn't pressure me. He even gave me tips on how to temporarily seal the roof ourselves so we could save up. That kind of honesty and care is rare."

Since 2021, A&A Roofing has provided residential and commercial roofing services to the greater Tri-Cities area, specializing in commercial flat roofing, TPO, EPDM rubber roofing, coatings, roll roofing and PVC systems. It is a roofing company that values building trust and enduring relationships, which was made clear when they decided to team up with QXO and PABCO Roofing Products to donate the roof to Amanda’s mother completely free of charge.

"I was shocked — I still am. The craftsmanship was unbelievable. The crew was respectful, hardworking and walked us through every step. They even reassured me that the rafters were in great shape. I'll never forget their generosity,” Amanda said.

A&A Roofing also tries to help empower their clients by providing educational content on social media that demystifies common roofing issues. Amanda learned her mother’s roof was considered for donation through the initial inspection video Noe took and used as an educational post.

Hopefully, this story will educate and inspire other people, whether they are in need of help or prepared to offer it.
