Gaco and Enverge announce new president

Throughout his career, Wernthaler has held a succession of senior leadership roles spanning research and development, marketing, operational excellence and general management.

Gaco™ and Enverge®, two leading brands within Amrize’s Building Envelope business, announce the appointment of Konrad Wernthaler as president of Gaco and Enverge. In this role, Wernthaler will oversee the strategic direction, operational execution and commercial growth of both business units, serving a broad spectrum of commercial and residential markets across the roofing, waterproofing, sealants, adhesives and insulation industries.

Wernthaler brings more than three decades of proven executive experience across the specialty chemicals and construction materials sectors. His technical expertise and commercial acumen uniquely equip him to strategically lead the business units and solidify the industry-leading positions of both the Gaco and Enverge brands.

Throughout his career, Wernthaler has held a succession of senior leadership roles spanning research and development, marketing, operational excellence and general management. Most recently, he served as chief executive officer of Mallard Creek Polymers, a manufacturer of custom emulsion polymers, where he successfully drove significant growth and product portfolio transformation.
