The Roofing Coatings Manufacturers Association (RCMA) Spring Meeting is where roof coatings move from a product conversation to a business strategy. Held on Monday January 19, 2026 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, this one-day meeting is designed to help contractors, manufacturers and industry partners align on what is working in coatings, what is changing fast and how to turn that knowledge into better margins, smarter specs and stronger customer relationships.
One of the highlights of the RCMA Spring Meeting is the variety of education sessions. The RCMA team knows that roof coatings are not one size fits all and neither is learning. That's why they designed an agenda that is built for the way that contractors work. The Spring Meeting will host practical sessions like the welcome and committee year in review as well as classroom sessions on topics such as EPDs and accurate roof coating estimates.
A must attend of these offerings is a panel discussion called The Competitive Edge: Why Contractors Should Offer Roof Coatings. This session will focus on how coatings not only extend the life of low slope roofing systems including PVC, EPDM, TPO, APP, SBS and metal, but also deliver a cost effective sustainable solution for building owners. The panelists will walk-through how different coating technologies perform across various substrates and the real-world performance benefits they bring, such as waterproofing, UV protection, flexibility and energy efficiency. This kind of clarity is critical for contractors looking to protect margins while building long term trust with customers.
In addition to education, the RCMA Spring Meeting also delivers unmatched networking. Attendees will be in the room with manufacturers, technical experts and fellow contractors who are shaping best practices product innovation and code conversations around the country. The conversations and discussions that are fostered by being in community with your peers is an invaluable resource that helps advance the entire coatings industry.
Here at The Coffee Shops™, we cannot express how much we value those conversations and how important they are. That's why we're sending Megan Ellsworth of CoatingsCoffeeShop to the meeting to connect with other contractors, manufacuters, association leaders and industry professionals! Make sure to say hi to her if you see her there.
The timing of this year's Spring Meeting is also ideal. It takes place just before the 2026 International Roofing Expo (which runs January 20–22, 2026), making it easy to combine education meetings and show floor time into one trip. RCMA will also be exhibiting at the International Roofing Expo (Booth 5466). Attendees are encouraged to stop by to connect with the RCMA team learn more about the benefits of roof coatings and explore RCMA membership including the new contractor membership category with on site registration available.
Overall, attending the RCMA Spring Meeting is a great way to kick off the new year with knowledge and networking. Contractor registration to the meeting is free with a promo code, making it super accessible! And for those looking to get even more involved RCMA welcomes volunteers at the International Roofing Expo booth offering a great way to build relationships and support the growing impact of roof coatings across the industry.
