Top August Stories: Roofing Innovations, Warranties and COVID

Here’s what’s trending on RoofersCoffeeShop® this past month. 

Our top story last month shared how SOPREMA teamed up with 3M to develop highly reflective granules for their SOPRALENE® SG and ELASTOPHENE® SG line of cap sheets that meet ENERGY STAR®, California Title 24, and Los Angeles Green Building Code standards.  

Warranties can be complicated and filled with fine print. Visitors to RCS were interested in a very informative guest article from GCP Technologies on the must-knows about residential roofing warranties.  

We almost always see a story about how the industry gives back and that was the case last month too with the Beacon of Hope roof giveaway for veterans. There is still about a week left to nominate a veteran with entry period closing September 24.  

With COVID-19 still lingering longer than many of us thought it would, visitors were interested to hear from Greta Bajrami, CEO and founder of Golden Group Roofing, about how millennial entrepreneurs are running their roofing businesses as virtually as possible.
