Kansas Roofing Association (KRA)

The Kansas Roofing Association (KRA) is a statewide trade association of roofing contractors, suppliers, distributors and other professionals.  The group collectively represents the voice of the roofing industry in Kansas.

KRA’s mission is to help its members operate successfully by providing up-to-date continuing education, industry contacts, consumer help, networking opportunities and a forum for public and governmental relations.

Membership Perks

Advocacy

KRA provides members with governing representation daily. KRA committees and KRA’s governmental affairs liaison work with elected officials, and many other key influencers to help impact industry regulations and legislation.  KRA also advocates for the industry itself.  Workforce and industry career development is a focus of the association.

Education

KRA delivers members front-line industry education on a variety of topics such as: business operations, industry products, safety, codes, and legal. These programs help keep members in the lead – to help this and future generations of employees to ensure the success of their companies and the roofing industry.

Networking

KRA connects members and industry partners and facilitates conversations that may lead to new opportunities and help members develop best practices and build their businesses. Through education and social events, online member listings, committee participation opportunities and much more, KRA members become industry leaders!

Resources

KRA offers members assistance through resources that help market their businesses and assist with answers or helping to find answers to questions and challenges. KRA leadership has generations of experience in small to very large projects and is available to help members!  KRA staff is diligent in helping members find information or answers to questions in an expedient manner.

Membership Options

KRA offers one class of membership with four categories within the member class:

Active Member: Any established residential or commercial roofing contractor, service provider, independent representative, distributor, person or company with a bona fide interest in the roofing profession.

Membership Categories:

  • Residential and/or Commercial Roofing Contractor - $575
  • Supplier of Services/Products, Distributor - $675
  • Manufacturer - $725
  • Branch - A branch location of a Residential or Commercial Contractor Member - $100

The Kansas Roofing Association membership year is January – December.  Dues are pro-rated for dues paid after June 1. For memberships received after November 1 dues are paid in full and membership is extended to December 31 of the following year.
