Better outcomes at every level of the building envelope

Learn how Gaco is expanding its portfolio to better support contractors.  

Gaco has a reputation as a leading provider of coatings, adhesives and sealants. In February 2025, the brand announced a broader identity that brings its entire portfolio under the Gaco name. In action, this means that legacy brands such as Pacific Polymers, ER Systems, Elastek, Acryl-R, Permathane, TackyTape (butyl), Foamseal and Sta’-Put are being incorporated and shifted into new Gaco sub-brands.  

The seven new sub-brands: 

1. GacoFlex: With a focus on roof restoration, coatings and foam, GacoFlex has roofing solutions that will maintain and extend the life of various existing roof membranes.   
2. GacoPoly: This sub-brand provides contractors with liquid-applied decking, waterproofing and air vapor barriers. Solutions include FastPass, which is a single-pass deck coating that is easy to apply! 
3. GacoDeck: GacoDeck focuses on liquid-applied deck coatings such as the GacoDeck TopCoat; a single component elastomeric coating that protects deck surfaces (like balconies, patios, ramps and more) from the elements. Not only do GacoDeck products protect decking from damage, they also can make it safer for pedestrians with features like embedded granules for traction. 
4. GacoFloor: Floor and safety traffic coatings are carefully engineered to safeguard high-traffic foot spaces like factory floors, hospital entrances, and even U.S. Navy ship decks.  
5. GacoSeal: For more general construction and building envelope needs, GacoSeal comprises three trusted names in the sealant industry; Acryl-R, Permathane and Tacky Tape. Now under a new name, these sealants maintain the same proven formulas and reliable performance as they always have. 
6. GacoBond: Adhesives for general construction and the building envelope include structural adhesives, primer/adhesive combos, and contact adhesives. These products are known for their simple application, reliable performance and sustainability attributes. 
7. GacoIndustrial: Last but not least, GacoIndustrial puts the spotlight on specialty adhesives, coatings and sealants for industrial sectors. From aerospace manufacturing to critical military applications to oil and gas infrastructure, these products have been formulated, field-tested and proven to meet critical specs and set the standards for reliability in the most demanding applications.
