HELP SUPPORT THE ROOFING INDUSTRY!

 WRITE TO CONGRESS urging them to co-sponsor the Dignity Act

As workforce shortages continue to be a top challenge facing the roofing industry, it is more important than ever to find balanced solutions to current challenges. NRCA supports the Dignity Act (H.R. 4393), bipartisan legislation to provide innovative solutions for a secure border and immigration reforms to address industry workforce needs.

The Dignity Act contains numerous provisions to bolster border security and fix our broken immigration system. It will help secure the roofing industry workforce by providing the opportunity for long-term undocumented individuals to earn lawful permanent residence status through work experience, military service or higher education. It will also provide resources for expanded workforce training and apprenticeship opportunities for U.S. workers.

The Dignity Act contains balanced solutions vital to sustaining a strong economy, meeting our national security needs and securing our industry workforce. NRCA supports this bipartisan legislation and urges members to join us in advocating for Congress to approve the bill.
