Workforce Successes Through SkillsUSA

The roofing industry has embraced SkillsUSA to help high school and post-secondary students get excited about roofing as a career option. In its first three years of engagement, NRCA has partnered with industry professionals—contractors, manufacturers, distributors and other organizations—to drive a robust presence at the National Leadership and Skills Conference. The championship field started with competitors from four states, doubled to eight the following year and doubled again in 2025. Contractors are reaching out to schools and schools are starting to reach out to industry.
