Western Colloid launches comprehensive roof installation training courses for contractors

Free, year-round technical training and video series now available to support applicators at every skill level.

Western Colloid, a leading provider of fluid applied reinforced roof systems, is proud to announce the availability of its new Roof Installation Training Course — a comprehensive video training series designed to support contractors, applicators and project teams in delivering high-quality roofing installations.

As part of Western Colloid's ongoing commitment to unmatched customer service and technical assistance, this training resource is offered at no charge to contractors — whether they are new applicators or experienced professionals who have been installing Western Colloid systems for decades. As Chris For, technical and training services director at Western Colloid put it, "The purpose of this course is to familiarize new applicators or provide a refresher with some of the best practices and techniques to employ while installing Western Colloid’s Fluid Applied Reinforced Roof systems.”

Course details

The training series consists of 13 numbered instructional videos totaling approximately one hour of content. Additional setup videos — recommended for foremen, project managers and superintendents — add approximately one more hour of training. All videos are available in English with closed caption settings that can be adjusted within YouTube to support multiple languages.

Additional resources are also available on Western Colloid’s website and YouTube channel. Western Colloid encourages all installation team members to complete the 13-video core series, while supervisory staff are additionally encouraged to view the supplemental setup modules.
